Dr. Freese was born in Bangor and grew up in Veazie, Maine. She has graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and then proceeded to earn her medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. Dr. Freese completed her Family Medicine Residency at Brown University Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island. She is Board Certified in Family Practice as well as certified in Aesthetic treatments by National Laser Institute. She has been practicing in the Bangor area since 2009. She is caring and dedicated in providing excellent care and improving people's lives by making them look and feel great. Her friendly and energetic personality makes her patients feel welcomed and comfortable.
Rebecca was born and raised in Bangor, Maine. She graduated from Capilo Institute in Augusta, Maine. She is a Licensed Aesthetician and is certified in Diamond Glow treatments, Dermaplaning, Environ and Skinceutical skincare and chemical peels, Colorescience skincare, SkinMedica skincare, Accent Prime, TruSculpt ID, TruSculpt Flex, Secret PRO, XEO laser treatments and Soprano Ice Platinum laser hair reduction. Rebecca has been practicing as a Licensed Aesthetician for six years and strives to provide the most up to date treatments and skincare products to her patients. Her warm and personal touch provides a welcoming experience at our medical spa.
Miranda received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maine in 2002. She has previously worked as a staff nurse in critical care, post-anesthesia care and hospital-wide as a supplemental staff member at Northern Light's Eastern Maine Medical Center. Miranda received neurotoxin injection training at Dell Cosmetic Medicine and apprentices under Dr. Freese, and practices at PMA as a nurse injector specializing in Neurotoxins, Botox, Xeomin and Dysport.
Miranda has also trained with the SkinPen device to perform PRP (platelet-rich plasma) Microneedling, which combats the dynamic signs of aging and improves skin texture and elasticity through promoting natural collagen production. Miranda works with her patients to determine the best treatment approach, with her primary focus being enhancing natural beauty and the highest adherence to safety.
Kelsy has recently joined the team at Penobscot Medical Aesthetics. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Maine at Orono. She's an experienced RN who offers several years of acute and critical care at the bedside, in the OR, and pre/post anesthesia. She's eager to incorporate her skills with aesthetic nursing with a primary focus on patient comfort and attention to detail. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, and exploring the beauty of the outdoors.
Kelsy is now trained in microneedling which includes The Skinpen device with an option of platelet rich plasma (PRP) or serum.
Kim is humbled to have joined the team of professionals at Penobscot Medical Aesthetics and help bring confidence to all of her clients. Kim was born and raised in the Bangor area. She graduated from The University of Maine Orono in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in the Science of Nursing. Kim was previously a cardiac RN for a total of 13 years educating and caring for others improving cardiac wellness. She is also very passionate about her fitness regimen and within the last year has become a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports. She brings a special well-being to others and works hard to make others feel comfortable in her presence.
Kim has been certified and trained with the SkinPen device and microneedling which includes PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) vs the serum approach. She strives to work with each patient individually and provide a care plan to help enhance their own natural beauty.
